Volunteer with Birdie's Bookmobile and help spread the joy of reading!

 

We invite individuals and groups to join us to help sort, box, label, and organize books for distribution during warehouse hours. Volunteers ages 13-18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We are also seeking Community Literacy Champions dedicated to supporting children in under-resourced neighborhoods and improving literacy outcomes to assist with book fairs.​​​​

 

Community Literacy Champions work directly with our Book Fair Field Merchandisers and may be asked to help with the following:

 

• loading books/equipment for transport to book fairs 

• setting up book displays and restocking tables

• staffing tables 

• assisting participants with book selection 

• break down and clean up 

• unloading books/equipment at the warehouse once the event is over
